Joe

I had the pleasure of spending Sunday
afternoon with Joseph and his amazing daughter,
Mary. I was there to take photos of Joe, but
it felt much more like catching up with an old
friend. We listened to Louis Prima and he told
me stories about his job, his children, and his
life. And even though he wasn't always able to
form the words he wanted with his lips, his hands
were like poems sketching memories in the air.
It was a beautiful afternoon I won't soon forget.

Neal

Neal's senior portrait session was
our last photo session of 2008.
He was quiet and cool and although
his smiles didn't come easily, they were
definitely worth the wait when they did.

Kelsey Family

A few weeks ago we photographed the Kelsey Family.
This is our second shoot with them, and as always,
they were a blast. We held off on taking the photos
so we'd have a chance to meet the newest addition to
their family ~ their new puppy, Champ. Of course he
won us over immediately. We had a great time taking
photos and catching up with the family!

Tobias Family

So we've been busy designing holiday cards,
filling orders before Christmas next week, and
booking lots of weddings for 2009, which is
why we've been a bit behind on the blog.

So I'll be posting photos over the next week
so you can see what we've been up to!

I photographed the Tobias family last month
with my friend, and fellow photographer, Lindsay Blake.

They are such a great family, filled with
laughter, love and joy. And I loved how
they each wore their favorite hat. I hope this
starts a trend because hats rock!
