Jacki & Ryan

Jacki & Ryan's wedding last weekend
was filled with laughter and emotion.
One of the most memorable moments was
when the best man pulled the wedding
rings out of a Cracker Jack bag. Ryan's
face at that moment was priceless.
The day was filled with lots of magical,
quiet moments too, when Jacki & Ryan had
their first dance and spent some alone time
together for portraits. They are one of
those couples that makes us feel so lucky
to do what we do. Congrats you two!

Clover

Clover was irresistible when I showed up
to take her 18 month portraits. Those juicy
cheeks and that sweet smile made my job easy.
And so did her mom, who had lots of great
things planned for Clover to do while I was
there. The finger painting was awesome. And
I especially loved when Clover started painting
herself. It was so cool watching her have fun,
explore, and get messy and having her mom
encourage such creative play. Can't wait
to photograph the newest addition to their family,
baby Isaac, when he arrives later this summer.

Claire

I had a great time shooting Claire's senior photos
last week. Her hair looked amazing blowing in the wind,
and a woman who rents bikes offered to let us use one
for some shots. It's always cool when something random
and spontaneous like that turns into a cool photo
opportunity. The last photo is one of my new all-time
faves ~ she looks like a movie star!

Jaimeeology

This is one of my all-timers. A student I have had multiple years and get to know well. She loves photography, and I'm absolutely thrilled with what she's been able to do with her work over the years.

Jaimee. Superstar photographer.

Rosey & Kara

The forecast had been calling for rain all week.
Jerred & I were both checking the weather throughout the day -
definitely rain they said. Well, "they" were wrong,
and no one could have been happier than Rosey & Kara.
The love and happiness in the air were palpable, and
we saw one of the coolest things ever - Rosey's mom,
who was out of town, attended via laptop courtesy of Skype.
Awesome. The reception at the Renaissance Mansion the following night
was just as perfect & filled us with nostalgia (we were married
there almost 7 years ago). Congrats, you two!
