Laura & Adam

From the first time we met these two, they seemed like old friends. Adam & Laura have such a great story, best friends in high school, then apart for 7 years, only to come back together & realize they were meant to be together. Pretty awesome stuff. Their day was fun, magical & truly beautiful. We were happy to be along for the ride.

Not even a little rain, okay, the worst storms we've had this year, could dampen the spirits of these two and the happy group of friends and family that came to celebrate their wedding day with them. Everything went smoothly and there was lots of happiness to go around. We even made it outside for a few photos near the end of the night. I love when two people are so happy being together that everything else sort of melts away, and that's just what happened with Danny & Laura. Beautiful couple. Beautiful wedding.

John Stillmunks Opening Reception

Last weekend I photographed the opening of artist John Stillmunk's newest work, "Contempt" at the Dundee Gallery. I've been a fan of Stillmunk's work for a while, and I immediately fell in love with his newest robot paintings on wood. I love the way his painting brought out the beauty of the wood underneath and I enjoyed listening to him talk about some of the inspiration behind his work. His paintings will be featured at the Dundee Gallery through March 25th. Check them out!
