I love when gloomy forecasts are wrong, and that's just what happened for Jennie & James' wedding this weekend. The sun was shining most of the day, and it was a beautiful wedding from start to finish. Lots of heartfelt moments and, boy, do these guys have some friends and family! It was great to see so many people come out to celebrate the wedding of such a great couple. Have fun on the honeymoon you two, can't wait to hear about the surprise destination!
Spring has finally arrived and we had a great time photographing the Garman family this weekend. We photographed Kent & Justine's wedding several years ago, and I was thrilled to get the chance to meet their adorable son, Mikey. He loved being w/ mom & dad & never seemed to tire of pushing around his little red rocket. I can tell this little guy is ready for a summer filled with adventure!
We've been trying to take advantage of every nice day we have ~ spending time with Logan outside when spring peeks its little head out, even if only for a day or two (like last week)! He has needed the sunshine and fresh air as much as we have. Jerred had fun editing these with some cool textures. Love how they turned out. Everyone is right when they say it goes by so quickly; he is growing and changing so fast. But I feel like we are (literally) capturing lots of moments. Maybe too many. But it will give us something to do when we are old and Logan is away at college ~ I'm sure he'll love having all his baby photos on Facebook or whatever replaces Facebook down the road . . .
I had a blast shooting a wild Mardi Gras party last night. Lots of fun, costumes, food & laughter, which always makes for good times at the photobooth! The people waiting in line for the tarot card reader and the physic were having a party of their own. Met a lot of cool people I won't soon forget.
