Sandy & Tess

Jerred and I recently spent some time w/ our
friends Sarah & Doug and their dogs Sandy and Tess.
It was uncontrollable cuteness all around. Of course
we took a million pictures of those dogs and absolutely loved
every second!

Tess is deaf, and it was so cool to see Sarah and Doug
using sign language to communicate with her. Her hearing loss
definitely hasn't slowed her down. She & Sandy played and fought
over that tennis ball the entire time we were there!

Sarah & Shelby

Sarah and Shelby are rockstars.
Or they should be... as they totally owned the camera.
They are two best friends who wanted some photos together,
and they turned out awesome.

We walked around downtown, through smelly alleyways and wet grass,
and had a great time taking tons of photos.
These, you two, are just a sample of the awesomeness to come.

Rockstars

So, after taking photos of Melissa on Sunday,
we met up with her daughters to take some fun
photos of my artwork.

Of course I quickly forgot all about the artwork
and just kept snapping away as the girls
did their best runway poses for me at the park.
It was a blast.

I was silently screaming with excitement when I saw the
girls whipping out those wigs!
Melissa & Marty might just be the coolest parents ever!

Thanks, guys, for an unforgettable day. I'm still smiling.

Melissa

Yesterday I had the pleasure of
photographing Melissa. She is an amazing
coach, counselor and visionary ~ dedicating
her life to helping people live with
intention and achieve their dreams.

She inspires everyone she meets, most
importantly her husband and two beautiful
daughters. I can honestly say, she is
a big part of the reason I pursued my dream
of being an artist, writer, and photographer.
And I feel extremely lucky to be able to call her
my friend.

Andrea & Aaron

We photographed Andrea & Aaron a few weeks ago and
are finally getting caught up & posting a few photos
from their shoot. Andrea is also an Omaha photographer,
and we had such a great time meeting her, her husband, and
their two amazingly cute and affectionate dogs.
As Jerred and I know, it can be hard, being photographers,
and finding yourself on the other end of a camera
for a photo shoot, but Andrea & Aaron were relaxed &
fun. We had a great time talking about photos, dogs
& life. We look forward to many more conversations
with this great couple!
